He is one of the calmest poodles I have seen. Even as a young puppy he was never overly hyper or energetic. From day one he was my son’s shadow. He has literally never jumped up on any of my children. He didn’t have to be taught to be careful he seemed to just know. He is not dominating and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He gets along with all the other dogs even my mini poodles that think they are big and tough. He will let them think they are big and tough and just walk away. He is the peacemaker in the family.
I could go on and on about how much I love this dog. I don’t think it gets much better than him. He is the perfect example of what a poodle should be and I am thankful to have him in our Bernedoodle program. He is calm, loving, temperament will pass to his Bernedoodle puppies.
We have exciting plans for the end of 2019 and 2020. We have standard Bernedoodles expected to be born in November, January, July, and October. We are planning a litter of full tricolor Bernedoodles with Melody and Jack. We are planning a litter with Merle tricolor Bernedoodles and traditional tricolor Bernedoodles with Apollo an Monroe. We are planning a litter with Rossa and Jack. All of the puppies in this litter will be tradtional tricolors. We are planning a litter with Dakota and Apollo. All of the puppies in this litter will be tradtional tricolors or Merle tricolors.
Melody is loving, goofy, and always happy. She loves everyone and everything. She is happy going on walks or sitting by my side all day. She is one of the calmest dogs I have ever seen. Even as a young puppy she was never hyper. She has a beautiful blocky head and strong build for pulling carts. She is the perfect example of what a Bernese should be. She never went through a puppy stage. Since I brought her home when she was 4-5 months old, she has been the best dog. She was never hyper and never went through a chewing stage. She has always wanted to be by my side and is happy as long as she is with me.
